Patients of Tennova Healthcare’s hospitals can continue to use their UnitedHealthcare insurance at the facilities.

Tennova confirmed this morning that it has reached an agreement for its hospitals to be in-network with UnitedHealthcare.

The hospital system and the insurer were to part ways today if they could not come to an agreement on reimbursement rates, both said last month. This would have meant Tennova hospitals were no longer covered under UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare plans.

Tennova CEO Neil Heatherly said an agreement was reached. The company will release more details later today, he said.
